With this series, I have taken on the task of creating a fantasy set in modern day Japan.
My main ambition has been to create a work for those children who are today being born into a world full of challenges.
I want to give them the encouragement to live with passion and confront the adult world head on.
To accept that living fully means at times experiencing pain and periods of struggle.
To understand that while this world may not be a holy place, the only way to make it better is to get down in the muck.
This is the message that I want to extend to children – to everyone.
The expression of this message is a necessity, whether it is accepted or not.
As of now, Jellyfish Eyes has ceased being a single film and is developing into a major project.
